Simple, Progressive,
EFFECTIVE
The Process

1- Diagnosis

Mind Over Dyslexia is focused on helping clients overcome challenges associated with Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD and Learning Disabilities. Although a formal diagnosis is not required to participate in a program, we can recommend an independent psychologist to assist in diagnosis if needed.

2- Free Phone Consultation

A free phone consultation is available for anyone who is interested in learning more about Dyslexia or ADD/ADHD and the associated thinking style. Call Mind Over Dyslexia and find out how the programs and services can be helpful for you.

3- Initial Consultation

Prior to booking a program, an initial consultation will be held to assess the client's goals and needs and to determine the suitability of the programs offered.

4- Program Schedule

Programs are typically 5 consecutive days in length, 9a.m. - 4p.m. where clients leave for a lunch break. Alternatively, a manageable schedule can also be tailored to best suit the client's needs and stamina. Clients will work one-on-one with Helen. The last 3 hours are set aside for support training for parents, caregivers, tutors or teachers to further assist the client with continued follow up activities.

5- Follow Up Support

Clients leave our programs with a renewed sense of self confidence, learning tools for continued improvement and any materials needed for follow up work. As part of the program, Mind Over Dyslexia can provide support through phone/email consultations or review sessions.
I learned more about how my mind works and how to use it to my advantage.

There was such an incredible difference in him after this one week program that I don’t know where to begin! Not only has his reading reached a grade 3 level (within 2 months of the program), but his printing is better, his self esteem has improved, his whole person seems to be so much happier.

Reading is easier for me now and it is much more fluent. I feel more relaxed and I feel more confident to read aloud in meetings.
